This Associate Director, Trust Finance will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all aspects of philanthropic fund creation, information management, and reporting.
- Creating new philanthropic funds; monitoring their expenditure activity to ensure compliance with designation and donor expectation; monitoring holding account activity and transfers; and providing a host of financial information about the funds to CHB and CHT staff.
- Creating strong partnerships with BCH finance offices (IDE and RF) to ensure efficient work flow, communication and adherence to established fund and gift acceptance policies. Responsible for ensuring compliance with BCH financial policies as they relate to philanthropic funds.
To qualify, you must have:
- Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles and concepts typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree.
- Fundraising experience preferred; background in accounting or information management required.
- Work requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and written communication skills in relating to vendors, management staff, and donors.
- Work requires high level of productivity, solution oriented performer who can be responsive to both staff and donor issues.
- Work requires strong technical skills in generic software programs (Excel, Word) as well as Raiser's Edge and Peoplesoft.
- Work requires ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Work requires a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a fundraising or not-for-profit environment.
- Decision making skills and the ability to negotiate/communicate/facilitate with senior management and faculty.
- Strong business/ financial skills to interpret and report on a variety of complex financial data.
